HEAL d.e.e.p.e.r.

than your brokenness

Let me introduce myself, I'm Crystal!

I am an author, faith-based coach, and speaker who helps women with past trauma find healing through my 6-step Healing D.E.E.P.E.R. process of developing awareness, establishing a safe place, examining fear, processing who God is, experiencing new levels of capacity, and redeeming their brokenness for His glory so they can find freedom and invite others to do the same.

  • My husband & I have been in ministry for 20 years.

  • I used to hide away the hardest parts of my story.

  • Jesus invited me to surrender every detail.

  • I am now passionate about making space for others to do the same.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1

Cultivating Redemption

Why even share my traumatic story here in this book?

I know it’s heavy to read—trust me, it’s even heavier to write. But it's through surrendering my past—what nearly undid me as a human being—that His heart can transcend my words and reach into your brokenness. His truth is made tangible through the trauma that I felt disqualified me as a pastor’s wife. So, I lay it down and invite you into a raw, real space where His grace works wonders.

Do you know how your past weaves into the redemptive story Jesus is writing?

Is past trauma or PTSD keeping you from walking in freedom?

What would it look like to lean into safe spaces as you heal—and to cultivate those spaces for others?

We weren’t meant to journey alone. Lean in with me, and let’s discover how beautiful life can be—even in the hardest moments.

YOUR STORY + JESUS' REDEMPTIVE POWER

About 10 years into marriage and ministry Jesus chased me down and made it clear He wanted my whole heart - not just the put together parts. I was terrified, uncertain of whether or not the church would accept us if my past was brought into light. By God's grace I SAW NO OTHER OPTION APART FROM SURRENDER.

I grew up in the church, I was a Bible college graduate...and yet I had no idea how to lead from a place of vulnerability. My husband and I ventured into this unknown space together, each surrendering our own stories for God's redemptive purposes. Over the years we have not only been met with acceptance, but with more grace and support than we ever could have imagined through the body of Christ. The evidence was plain - THE ENEMY IS A LIAR and had held us captive in shame and condemnation for far too long.

Grandmothers, mothers, daughters...we have territory to reclaim for the Kingdom of God and the path to make it happen is found within our very own stories. The power of the Gospel comes to life as Jesus redeems our darkest moments for His glory and for our good. No more hiding away the imperfect parts! JESUS DESIRES TO USE OUR UTTERMOST BROKENNESS FOR HIS UTTERMOST GLORY!
